The Matshita DVD drive I have (model in the subject) does not read any DVDs/CDs at all. As I insert a disc into the drive the orange light on it flashes for a second or two and then nothing else happens. The drive does not seem to try to read the disc at all, after the two second flash it goes quiet/dead.
